Widening Access to Medicine
As part of our commitment to Widening Access to Medical School (WAMS), PCMD currently undertakes a programme of outreach activities with local schools in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. The WAMS students currently offer three interactive workshops which can be delivered to students who are interested in a career in medicine or another healthcare profession. Please have a look at the brochure for an insight into what is on offer.

Our e-Mentoring Scheme provides an opportunity for students from year 11 at schools in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset to discuss not only the application process but also the teaching and learning experiences of medical students enrolled on the BM,BS programme.
