Independent Learning

We always aim to give you extensive support and guidance throughout your degree course. This includes encouraging you to take on more responsibility for your own learning as you progress through each stage.

Your independent learning is supplemented by a portfolio or series of 'indicative presentations'. These presentations encourage you to knit together your scientific and clinical knowledge, helping you apply it to everyday practice.

Benefits
  • You develop your ability to analyse and understand things like diagnostic tests
  • You learn to work out your own management plans for treating patients
