Programme Overview
This programme acknowledges the role of all clinicians as educators and leaders. It aims to develop clinical education practice by focusing on quality improvement. The programme enables participants' clinical education practice to be informed by theories, concepts and evidence from the forefront of clinical education research.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education (60 Masters credits) consists of two 30 credit modules:
- Application of Knowledge and Theory to Clinical Education Practice (Module One)
- Methodologies in Clinical Education (Module Two)
The Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education (120 Masters credits) consists of the two modules for the Postgraduate Certificate plus two further modules:
- Scholarship and Leadership in Clinical Education (Module Three)
- Clinical Education for Innovation and Quality Improvement (Module Four)
The Masters in Clinical Education (180 Masters credits) comprises of the four Diploma modules for the Postgraduate Diploma plus the Dissertation module (60 Masters credits).
