Programme Overview
The MSc in Environment and Human Health aims to develop core knowledge and understanding of theories and concepts in environment and human health and provides a detailed understanding of ecological public health, the relationship of health to environment as well as the social determinants of health and healthcare systems.
The course delivers a detailed understanding of the principles and practice of environmental science and explores methods of current best practice designed to achieve measurable environmental change for positive human health outcomes.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Environment and Human Health (60 Masters credits) consists of two 30 credit modules:
The Postgraduate Diploma in Environment and Human Health (120 Masters credits) consists of the two modules for the Postgraduate Certificate plus two further modules:
- Project Design, Development and Knowledge Transfer (Module Three)
- Environmental Sciences and Sustainable Practice (Module Four)
The Masters in Environment and Human Health (180 Masters credits) comprises of the four Diploma modules for the Postgraduate Diploma plus the Dissertation module (60 Masters credits).
