Programme Overview
The prevention and control of infection is one of the biggest challenges currently facing the NHS and is an issue that affects everyone working in the healthcare profession. This programme acknowledges the role of all clinicians as Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practitioners, partners and leaders and aims to produce evidence-based practitioners or members of an IPC team.
This Postgraduate Certificate in Infection Prevention and Control (60 Masters credits) comprises two 30-credit modules:
- Core Principles of Infection Prevention and Control (Module One)
- Translation of Infection Prevention and Control into Practice (Module Two)
